Introduction: Welcome to KoKo Ménage Housing Project: Building Futures for the Formerly Incarcerated. We're embarking on an important journey to secure a new home on the market for $795,000.00 for our Housing Project located at 145 W. Flora Street, Stockton CA 95202. We would like to secure this residential and have it in State Compliance with licensing and insured by 07/01/2024. With your support, we can provide a safe and supportive environment for up to 20 men at a time as they transition and reintegrate into society after incarceration.

 

Our Mission: The mission of KoKo Ménage Housing Project Inc. is to provide comprehensive re-entry services and transitional housing for formerly incarcerated individuals in San Joaquin County. We are dedicated to empowering individuals with the tools, support, and resources necessary to successfully reintegrate into society and lead fulfilling lives. Through our programs, we aim to break the cycle of recidivism, promote positive community reintegration, and support individuals in achieving long-term stability and success. Our commitment to transparency, accountability, and compassion guides our efforts to create a supportive environment where individuals can rebuild their lives with dignity and hope.

 

Our Goal: Our goal is to raise at least $120,000 for the down payment to secure the fully remodeled 7-bedroom, 6-bath & 6 Kitchen house in Stockton, CA where individuals can find stability and support as they rebuild their lives. This housing project will serve as a beacon of hope and a steppingstone towards a brighter future for those seeking a second chance. This beautiful remodeled 2-story house has (one) 2bed/1ba and (five) 1bed/1ba unit(s) six-plex has newly installed flooring, windows, siding and paint. Every unit comes with a fully functional kitchen with new appliances such as: black stainless steel gas Samsung stoves and new Kraus kitchen sinks. Built in 1916 and has a large, gated lot size of 7,275 sq. feet.

Designated Funds: ALL donations received through this campaign will be designated specifically for the acquisition of the property located at 145 W. Flora Street, Stockton CA 95202. These funds will be set aside exclusively for this purpose and will not be used for any other expenses. 

 

Transparent Allocation: We are committed to transparency and accountability in how donations are utilized. As such, a dedicated account will be established to track and manage the funds raised for the property purchase. Donors can rest assured that their contributions will be allocated solely towards securing the identified property.

 

Direct Transfer: Once the fundraising goal of $120,000 is reached, the accumulated funds will be directly transferred towards the purchase of the property to the owner. This transaction will be executed in accordance with all legal and financial regulations governing such acquisitions, ensuring a seamless and transparent process.
 

Real Estate Transaction: The funds raised will be used as the down payment towards the purchase price of $795,000 depending on the specific terms negotiated for the property. Any additional costs associated with the acquisition, such as closing fees or property inspections, will also be covered by the funds raised through this campaign.
